JOB Advertisement for the appointment of Legal Consultant at IGNOU

The IGNOU invites applications for the position of Senior Legal Consultant. The candidate should :

i)   have obtained a Degree in law from recognized University in India preferably a Master’s Degree.

ii)    have experience in dealing with service and administrative matters of the educational institutions.

iii)   have excellent skills in writing legal opinion.

iv)   have knowledge in Computers.

The initial period of engagement of the Legal Consultant shall be for a period of one year at the first instance which may be extended subject to need of the University and satisfactory performance.

The University reserves the right to discontinue the services of the appointed Consultant at any point of time with one month’s notice. The consultant engaged by the University also has a right to discontinue his services with one month notice.

The IGNOU will pay a consolidated (all inclusive) monthly emoluments ranging between Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 37,500/-.

                          

The University also reserves the full right to accept/reject any expression of interest or call for any clarification/information.

The University reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof, as well as the right to add and modify any one or more of terms and conditions. The upper age limit for the position will be 70 years.
