IGNOU offers distance learning certificate programme in Poultry Farming

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites applications for a six-month “Certificate in Poultry Farming” (CPF) Programme for July 2013 session.

 

The certificate programme aims at developing and strengthening human resource by infusing/imparting knowledge and skill in Poultry Farming through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Mode; creating awareness about the opportunities of employment and livelihood in Poultry Sector; and imparting basic knowledge and technical proficiency in Poultry Breeding, Housing, Management and Nutrition. The minimum duration of the certificate programme is six months. However, the candidate has the flexibility of completing the programme within two years’ time. The eligibility requirement for this certificate programme is 8^th Pass. The programme fee is Rs. 3,000. The programme is offered in English, Hindi, Mizo and Telugu languages.

 

All the interested candidates from rural areas and below poverty line urban candidates can avail 50 per cent fee concession on submission of valid proof.
