Are you looking for information about  27th Convocation then you come at right place? I am writing this article because many of my friends completed their degree but they still confuse when is going to be held 27th convocation so that they can get their Degree/Certificate in person at their respective convocation centre. But yeah on the IGNOU official website there is no any proper link where it mention that this is date of convocation.So I would like to add some lines for your information that may help you.

This convocation was given certificate/degree to those only who has cleared their programme/course by December- 2012/June-2013 term-end examination. So If your programme/course is being completed or eligible  by Term End December 2014, then you will get your degree/certificate by next convocation i.e. 28th  convocation. 

You may received your provisional Certificate and mark sheet but for the degree you need to pay Rs.400/- per certificate to be paid by means of demand draft drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ and payable ‘Your City Name’.

Note: 

1.  Please bring your IDENTITY CARD issued by the University while coming for the 27th Convocation. In case of lost of IDENTITY CARD, please contact reception of the Regional Centre immediately with original general diary copy from respective police station for the loss and a demand draft of Rs 200/- in favour of IGNOU and payable at Your city.
2.  Please bring a sum of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards the security deposit for SCARF, which shall be refunded on return of the SCARF.

Dear Learner,

Heartiest congratulation to you for completing University Programme in December- 2012/June-2013 term-end examination, thus becoming eligible for award of original Certificate at 27th Convocation of the University likely to be held in March, 2014.

You are required to register yourself for obtaining the degree/diploma certificate by submitting the enclosed prescribed application form. You may attend the convocation and collect the certificate in person or in absentia through the IGNOU Regional Centre, .

The fee to obtain the original Degree/diploma certificate is Rs.400/- per certificate to be paid by means of demand draft drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ and payable ‘Your City Name’.

Students of MBA, MCA, M.COM, BTCM, BNS, etc. are required to remit registration fee @ Rs.400/- per certificate (like Diplomas, PG-Diplomas/Degrees as prescribed in the programme). Students have to take all the certificates if they have qualified for more than one module of the program me.

The exact date of Convocation and other details in this regard will be communicated to you shortly.
